Race photos of Tallahassee Classic are up!  Taken by my long time friend and racing mate, Dean Dugger!  He will likely shoot the upcoming Albany TT & Crit.  See lots & lots of photos here - http://deansphoto.exposuremanager.com/g/tallahassee_cycling_classic

Emily Fancher of our team has lately been sporting her UGA uniform on weekends - at collegiate races.  Here is a race report from the Florida State weekend 2/20/2010 - http://velonews.competitor.com/2010/02/news/florida-state-weekend-attracts-14-collegiate-teams_105762   Here are current collegiate Southeast Conference Standings - http://collegiatecycling.org/seccc/index.php?n=Site.Road2

Core Strength - lot's of us talk about it as something we need to work on.  Here are some great ways to do it, from legendary coach Joe Friel - http://www.trainingbible.com/joesblog/blog.html

Sleepy Time & Collegiate Racing
So, now you even need a strategy for sleeping?  C'mon son!  Well, it does help to know how much and what happens when you sleep - a great article here: http://www.pezcyclingnews.com/?pg=fullstory&id=7997

Big Collegiate cycling race down at Georgia Southern University last weekend.  Interesting to see the results and note how many current or past Fulton Flyers were there: Elizabeth Lee, Emily Fancher, Carla Swart, Oscar Clark & Thomas Brown.  We do have an impact on development cycling down here! (it's not bragging if it's true...).  See the race report - http://velonews.competitor.com/2010/03/news/big-teams-tune-up-at-georgia-southern-university-weekend_106492

Burning Matches!

If you race, you have heard folks talk about "burning a match", usually in the context of they burned too many too early.  So, exactly what is a match?  Hunter Allen defines this precisely in terms of power in this article - http://home.trainingpeaks.com/articles/cycling/what-is-a-match-by-hunter-allen.aspx
